Why does it recommend "dark pen on white paper"?
The tool works by detecting contrast between ink and background — a dark signature on plain white paper gives it the cleanest edge to extract. Faint pens, colored or lined paper, and poor lighting all make that edge harder to detect cleanly.
What does the Threshold slider do?
It controls how strictly pixels are classified as "ink" vs. "background." Raise it if parts of your signature are being cut off; lower it if too much background is coming through as noise.
Can I change the ink color in the output?
Yes — keep the original color, or force it to solid black or blue, which is useful for matching a specific pen-color requirement on official documents.
